The dorms are so great, I was in Lipton Hall my first year and it is honestly so nice, bright, cozy, and clean. WGU is hands down the best college at which to earn a business degree. My daughter is gifted, but shy shy shy, and her mother is Brazilian, so VERY attached and we worried about sending her away. It was a gateway to meeting new people and making friends. It is such a beautiful environment everywhere you go, and so peaceful, providing a lot of study places and opportunities. I have found that the level of support you get from faculty really depends on your major--when I was in a large degree like biology, I felt left behind and replaceable (my current major is wildlife ecology and it is AMAZING). Everyone I've spoken to has been so nice and helpful! Every program, whether that be the musical program, theater, biology, medicine, or integrated science, was fleshed out to a point of great immersion and understanding. The campus food wasn't bad and the staff was friendly. The whole school feels like one big family. The College of Business is accredited by AACSB International, the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools and the benchmark of quality for business education worldwide, accrediting only 5% of the world’s schools offering business degrees. I was able to make a few lifelong friends too! I was ecstatic to have made the team because I had not had the chance to dance on a team for four years. The campus is beautiful and the academics are stellar. I really like it here because of all the academic support and resources, not so much for the social scene. I wasn't one to really care about having the "traditional college experience" from sports, to having an actual solidified area for the campus, so NYU was absolutely perfect for me.
